Starting SoonIntro to CheerleadingCheerleading/DanceAthletes learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, stunts, pyramids, and cheer dance routines. Coaches focus on technical elements to help participants build skills and confidence. Athletes may advance to a higher level by aging up or by testing their skills. Competition is optional but highly encouraged as a fun opportunity for athletes to showcase their hard work and new skills on a big stage. The competition will be held on 12/13, and uniforms and other equipment will be available for purchase through CFA mid-season. Important Registration Information:To participate in the competition, registration on Champion Force Athletics (CFA) is required after registering with Red Wing Community Education.Visit www.championforce.com to log in or create an account. Search for the Red Wing class, click “Details,” and complete the registration process. No payment is required to CFA.Fall 2026

Intro to Fencing, Ages 8+ClassesFencing is a vigorous sport that develops stamina, quick reactions, speed, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. More than a game, fencing requires a mental attitude of self-discipline involving total manipulation of mind and body in perfect harmony. It utilizes natural body movement to create simple and effective self-protection techniques with the sword. All participants are encouraged to have fun no matter what their ability. Attacking, defense, timing and intense tactics are all integrated into this beginning class. We can provide fencing gear (mask, jacket, glove, and weapon). Fencers should come dressed comfortably (for freedom of movement) including long sweat pants and running shoes.Fall 2026 -
Learn to Skate, Ages 3+ClassesDiscover the joy of skating with our Learn to Skate program! Skaters will have a fun and focused learning experience. Guided by experienced instructors, participants will develop balance, confidence, and fundamental skating techniques in a supportive environment. This class is geared for both hockey and figure skaters. All beginner skaters must wear a helmet— bike helmets are acceptable. Free skate rentals (hockey or figure skates) are available for all participants. Please note: The time listed is a general program time; participants will be notified of their assigned skate time prior to the start date, as each group will skate during a portion of the listed time.Fall 2026 -
Outdoor ExperiencesBring learning to the outdoors through hands-on, field-based adventures. From hiking and navigation to camping, wildlife study, paddling, and back country skills, these courses build practical expertise, environmental literacy, and a lasting love of nature.
